Collections were introduced to FarmVille on January 15, 2010. The items in the various collections can be collected through gifts or performing various tasks around the farm, like plowing, collecting from certain animals, harvesting trees or fertilizing. A Hint, useful to find the item you want, could be displayed placing the cursor on the image of that item (for more detailed information, read below). Giftable items alternate every two days, and are avaiable from level 1 onwards. When an uncommon or rare collectable item is found, it can be shared with 5 friends via wall posting. Once a collectable set is completed, it can be traded in with a reward. The player can also post a feed that gives everyone who clicks it a random item of that collection.

Gardening Tools

Gloves The Gloves are a giftable Gardening Tools Collection item, available randomly for two days at a time.
Trowel The Trowel is a Gardening Tools Collection item, available randomly by plowing crops.
Cultivator The Cultivator is a Gardening Tools Collection item, available randomly by fertilizing crops.
Twine The Twine is a Gardening Tools Collection item, available randomly by harvesting sheep.
Pruning SawThe Pruning Saw is a Gardening Tools Collection item, available randomly by harvesting trees.
ShearsThe Shears is a Gardening Tools Collection item, available randomly by fertilizing crops.

Country Kitsch

NeedlepointThe Needlepoint is a giftable Country Kitsch Collection item, available randomly for two days at a time.
SpigotThe Spigot is a Country Kitsch Collection item, available randomly by plowing crops.
PocketwatchThe Pocketwatch is a Country Kitsch Collection item, available randomly by plowing crops.
